"I underwent a double mastectomy. I had to have 3 reconstructive surgeries. After all of the reconstruction, I felt ugly every time I looked at myself in the mirror. All I could think about was what I had lost. I had no confidence in the way I looked. Shopping was incredibly upsetting. I was horribly asymmetrical and scarred.
